This makes no sense. Maka has been here the longest. If this were possible, she would have done it already.

She wouldn't listen when I asked her to stay. I'm very worried, Soul.

she wouldnt listen to me either. part of me isnt surprised i mean its maka and once she decides to do something, even if its STUPID and RECKLESS and everyone tells her that, shes still gonna do it.
just part of who she is

doesnt mean i like it or agree with it but she did agree to take me with her
ill have to stay in weapon form for almost the entire trip but im not letting her go alone

[Maka walks out the room, yawning. Her hair is a mess from sleeping and in her arms, is a fat orange cat.]

[Groggily, she makes her way to the kitchen and sets cat!Soul on the counter and peeks in the fridge.]

[Oddly enough, Soul was already awake. He's sitting at the kitchen table, hunched over and eating a bowl of cereal. He lifts up his head when he hears Maka shuffle in.]

Hey, morning.

[ineuphony]

Morning.

[She pulls out a carton of juice and milk, reaching up in the cabinet to get a glass and a bowl. The cat wanders over to Soul and pretty much flops in front of him, stretching out, wanting a belly rub.]

-- Any plans today?

[He stares at cat!Soul in mild irritation, but finds himself giving him a belly rub anyway.]

No, why? Did you want to do something?

[ineuphony]

I don't know, maybe. -- It is the weekend. No school and I have weekends off from work.

[she grabs a can of cat food and a can opener. maka opens the can and pours the kitty food into the bowl. she clicks her tongue to get cat!soul's attention and sets the food on the ground. cat!soul rolls over and eagerly hops down to eat.]

I've heard the planet isn't... exactly a great place to be, so if we do decide to do something - it's gotta be around here.

[now finally pouring orange juice for herself.]
